Jusanya means the night or the moon on the 13th of the 9th month in the lunar calendar(corresponding to October 17th of this year in the Gregorian calendar). Jusanya is twinned with Jugoya(harvest full moon we had last month), Jusanya is also called Nochi no Tsuki(later moon) in Japan.
People were unwilling to hold only one of the two moon viewing events, Jugoya and Jusanya, as katamizuki(partial moon viewing).
It is Jusanya here in japan tonight. Although it is not a full moon, I enjoy and appreciate the beautiful moon and the nature that bring us a lot of blessings:)
